No, just a simple Marlin 22LR. We were talking about this today, as it's one of those hunting stories. ;-)

10 years ago I needed a 22 to go squirrel hunting, something better than the trusty single shot boy scout model because I needed a scope, so I go to Wal-Mart and really wanted this nice Rugar. Only problem was they didn't have it with the stainless steel barrel, so I bought the Marlin. Couple weeks later we go to the squirrel tournament and thanks to my dead eye shooting, we win the thing. Back then, they don't anymore, they gave away new 22's for the top 2 teams. So the choices were, a Henry lever action or a Rugar just like what I wanted to begin with. Dad chose the Henry and I took the Rugar.

Thennnn, since we won because of my Marlin......I couldn't give it up. So the Rugar still sits in the gun case waiting to be fired.
