Texas/New Mexico Stateline | We can see galaxies tens of billions of light-years away. And what we see is galaxies that are not suitable for life for one. Too many of the wrong kinds of stars, too crowded, too scattered, too old.* And they are so far away it is unlikely that life (that probably does not exist) would develop to the point of being able to travel that distance either. Stacking one improbability, on top of other improbability, on top of more leads to -not possible.
*Personally I have other beliefs on the age of the Universe but that is a different discussion. I believe the Universe was created for us to study and enjoy. That is all.
