Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | That is surprising to hear they have been that active in your area. Like you, I assumed they'd leave the open country alone. I bought something from a guy in Colfax, WA near you a while ago, all he talked about was the wolves and cattle. I wondered if he was exaggerating the problem a little since it is wide open there, and I've always assumed wolves were a timber country animal. Guess that is what you get for assuming.
The wolf that is down in California spent quite a bit of time out in some juniper/sagebrush area south of here. Guess none of us are going to escape this. Knowing California's they'll probably go get the lone wolf they have a mate so he won't be lonely and then they can start a pack... of course, also knowing Californian's they might get him another male for a mate, so maybe they won't start a pack... ;) | |
