Baldwin City, KS | Can you wean calves using just corn silage and DDG along with free choice prairie hay in a bale ring (also free choice mineral with rumensen)? Silage has little corn in it. If this will work, how much silage and DDG for 450-550 # calves to get them started? Still not sure if or for how long I will keep the calves, but need to feed them something till I get done with harvest and make a decision. | |
