Old cows just don't put condition on like they should. I would say to cut your losses and put the feed into better animals.


If your selling your steers as feeders, I think they could be discounted after clamping because of the question of whether they were effectively castrated. If your finishing them, I would think selling them on rail, by yield and grade would be your best bet.
