Central Iowa | We had 2 calves die in the past 2 weeks from diphtheria.....anybody else having this problem ??? they say it's not contagious so how would my calves get it ?? anyway the trachea fills up with blood and gets all swollen and i guess they really breathe hard and then suffocate, and it can all happen in a few hours. so we are going to get them all vaccinated to prevent further losses, but please respond with any thoughts you might have. | |
