Subject: RE: Honda Rubicon using oil

El Campo, TX.
Go back to the honda oil, it is a special blend for the engine and transmission. This oil is like a can of STP when you get it on your fingers, it does not break down under the excessive heat that the transmission gives off. The honda oil is more expensive but it works. I have an 03 model with almost 8000 miles on it (rice field work) and haven't had any trouble yet.
