Subject: RE: Silage bag gas ?

I make a pen size hole in the slack. Tape in a wk. Or use the back side of a knife and drag a hole in it. I keep it rough so that it is a lot less likely to run down the bag if it gets pressure. Also for what its worth I always cut across the bag never with it the way it lays for the same reason. If conditions are right I feel it could go ZIP right to the other end if I start a cut that way. May make no difference, but it makes me feel better.
