Well, that's kinda any neighborhood. Got some around here where their grain monitor never fell below 200 all harvest, yadda yadda. I knoe their ground, they re blowing smoke.

It was that way for grain farmers in the 1980s and again in the 1990's. Lots of livestock growers made comments intended to be funny, but weren't very thoughtful. Why bother growing corn, when I can buy it for 2/3 the cost of growing it? I'm not tat dumb!

Me, I'm typically farming a swamp and tend to hate rain, get a lot of wet years 'here'. I found out quick a lot of folk live on arid ground, and don't appreciate my comments on that topic. I should be thankful forevery rain I get. (This - as I was looking at open water on 25% of my fields one May....)

So, we all get that sort of thing. It gets a person down sometimes, until one realizes where it is coming from.
