southcentral nebraska | Chip Flory was on Agday this morning was talking about finding suprizes on the crop tour next week. By the way he and his sidekick talked, they could have yields that will surprize us .I don't think neutral objectivity will have allot to do with their tour. He wants to find higher yields and thats what they are going to be looking for . He has down played the drought all summer, telling us it was not as bad as everyone says , and don't get too bullish. They said the the farmers might want to protect themselves before the tour with options . Don't like the way this sounds. The analyst all seem to want the market to be lower and say anything to help it get there. They have lost credibility in my book.
