Depends, IMO. Each entity has their fiscal requirements, and each has their own level of intestinal fortitude. Can you live with passing on $8, for a chance at $10, only to sell at $6.50?......or.....Does your banker....? I think each needs to find their level of comfort, and then study what fits into well into that. For instance, over the last few months, there has been a lot of chatter about harvested acres, planted acres, national yield etc....To me that is all noise, and really couldn't care less about that. All those numbers mean little to me, but to others who have studied it, it does mean something, and they know how to use it. So pick what works for you, study it......Nobody says it needs to be perfect the first time out...
