Nearby Lean Futures Hammered Again
The lean hog pit finished significantly lower with fourth-quarter contracts
suffering triple-digit losses. Live and feeder futures settle mostly lower with
the latter especially faltering on the former.

With lean hog index for 08/13/012 @ $92.31 and October lean hog futures settling @ $75.60 on 08/15/2012, I thought it was time to sell corn and buy someOctober lean hog calls.
