| You sound exactly like we were a year ago. We left the month of July 2011 with great subsoil moisture and raised a good corn crop. Bottom ground was great for corn and beans. Hill beans dried out and got only a half inch after the first of aug. Beans here need that labor day rain every year to finish. Hope your 2013 is not like our 2012. Weather guy today said the Dakotas , western mo and Iowa , ks and ne should remain in drought conditions for the rest of the year. | |
