I would also like to see more flexears developed, I sure it could be done. But then not planting as much seed so it will cost even more! Here our summers the last 6 out of last 7 are pretty dry. Would like to find good yielding corn that doesn't need 32 to 34 thos. to yield well on some of poorer fields. I'am going to look into that this winter.
