Now that one got my attention :>) Boiled linseed oil is probably the the best seal . Sort of messy but it does work good . Wife used boiled LSO and paint thinner to do the wood doors and cabinets in the house . 50/50 mixture . With out the paint thinner it takes a LONG time to dry indors.
