North Central Illinois | It sounds to me like in your case as soon as harvest price is set you need to buy back those bushels ASAP? I don't see any other way to cover your ass. I would talk to your banker now about a bridge loan of some kind to get from October until you make your December delivery or get an insurance check. If you have high coverage insurance with the harvest price option I wouldn't see why your banker wouldn't work with you. Am I looking at this wrong? | |
