KY | If anywhere close on money, go with #1. For one thing, dust and dirt eat turbos. Not that that is your biggest worry, but you can bet it's worn some, I know mine is and it doesn't eat all that much. The second thing, a 7.3 with a 4R100 (assuming it's an auto) never knew the loads you're talking about were back there. (Really no different on the manual, just speaking from experience on the 4r100. Mine has 187,000 on it and only thing I've done out of ordinary maintenance is re-oring the fuel bowl and I did replace the injectors this spring due to one going bad. Mine has a rough life, I would expect 200K out of a set of injectors on one that's not abused as mine is. | |
