re: sizing, we are close to Garvo's specs. were 12x25 and they hold most everything, soymeal, distillers, sunflowers that comes in a straight trailer. we don't have the height to accept dump trailers in them but here nothing is available that way anyway, all grain trailers so we run an auger into the bay and use a small hydraulic transfer auger to feed the gas motor auger. by positioning the auger end about 2/3rds to 3/4's of the way to the back the loads fit. we may have a couple buckets worth just at the edge but after a day or 2 of feeding it's completely under roof.

I remember when we built them trying to find info on sizing and it was almost impossible. we ended up guessing and fortunately it worked out. hope it goes well.
