The "truth" in this business is really just a personal opinion based on the information an individual has available.

One can obviously speak his current best "truthful" opinion and still be wrong.

And yes, I for one do not believe the USDA conspiracy theories I hear espoused here when one does not like the message they put out. 166 may have been a ridiculous number but I don't attribute that to any conspiracy - most likely "faulty" assumptions or methods of coming up with it but not "evil".
