| Our mechanic worked for a crane company once, said they all had auto lube on all the cranes. Like everything else, works great when it works but you still have to check that all points are properly taking grease from time to time. If your diligent in checking that during the off season it would probably be fine buy he says the 15 mins it takes to go around and grease by hand is time well spent looking over the machine and I tend to agree with him. I also wonder how the system can insure that sealed bearings don't get over greased and the bushing don't get under greased? | |
