Since this is on the Machinery page I will assume you are speaking more hardware. There is no comparison between computers and ag equipment hardware, nor between Deere and Apple, in my opinion. Did you ever need a part for your Apple at 5 pm on a Saturday with rain coming and the dealer offerred to stay open until you got there? As far as software goes, I think ag software is still in the early days of its development. And like computer software years ago, it changes in fits and starts. I think the key to ag software these days, no matter what brand/color, is having a knowledgeable local person to help get the thing connected and running properly and teach you how to understand and use it. Many Deere dealers have that person, some do not. I will leave it at that. Jim at Dawn
