Those are a great belt design. Those cleats also support the teeth and give them some extra pickup ability when you have to run close to the ground. I have one of those on our older pickup header and the belt is about 13 or 14 years old. I still use that pickup on a frame I made for the swather for fluffing a seed windrow that gets rained on. It has saved our red clover crop twice now.
