Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
A loose fuseholder may explain your problem in that the radar gun was not getting power.

In regard to your question about getting speed from an EZ-Guide 500, the answer is yes. Simulated radar speed out is available from many of the Trimble devices such as an EZ-Guide+, EZ-Guide 500 and CFX 750.

In the case of your 500, a special cable is used that connects to the 9 pin connector on the back of the 500, the other end connects to the Raven speed connector (small round conxall connector).

On the 500, you need to set the radar output to ON. You also have the option of setting the output speed. Using a value of around 600 on the EZ-Guide 500 will allow you to use SP2 and approximately the current value for the Raven speed cal.
