NE CO
I've tried a couple of different brands, one from Target, the other from Walmart and I think they are both accurate in themselves. The problem is to find a good location for the sensor. Both sets of instructions suggested putting it in the door jamb outside the weather seal. I've tried that plus several other locations. The problem is that on a hot day, or even when driving with that side facing the sun, it never seems to come down to the actual air temperature. Heat from the engine compartment probably affects most mounting locations as well. I'm not sure where factory mounted sensors are located, but I've about decided mine are worthless. Besides that, the readout always looks like it has been added on and looks a little tacky.
