CENTRAL ILLINIOS
I have 770. Weak link is the slip clutch. Unless they made them heavier on the new ones, I can almost guarantee you that hired help will have the clutch facings burnt off before they figure out what is wrong. They shut the auger off full for whatever reason then go to restart and the clutch slips. Takes them a minute to se no grain is coming out so they open the gate, speed up the engine, open the gate some more, turn around look some more, try turning the pto off then back on. They finally figure something is wrong when the cloud of smoke from the overheated clutch obstructs their view of the grain cart. Shear bolts are better. After replacing a few of those they learn not to do whatever it was that caused the bolt to shear.
