Iowa
+1 for adding the weight.

I pulled a 25' disk about 50 miles and had 1000 lbs of tractor weights in the back of the 3/4 ton pickup I was using. A lot will depend on how the disk is weighted and how well it trails, but if you hit a big enough bump or dip, all bets are off regardless. This disk I pulled would start weaving a at speeds above 25 mph and had almost no toung weight. It was a tail that could easily wag the dog. It's not a good feeling. 50 miles on back roads without much traffic was far enough for me. I'd be inclined to hire the job done by someone with the right equipment.

I've pulled bigger things that had more toung weight with a lot less difficulity, but would still be inclined to look for a better alternative than a 3/4 ton pickup.
