Woodham, Ontario | Got the wheat crop off, very happy with how it yielded. Going to spread some dry manure from the heifer barn and planning to seed something for forage to chop this fall. Just wondering what will make for better heifer feed. It's been dry here and the alfalfa has been dissapointing. May still plant some rye after silage corn, but would like something for the fall too. Would probably plow the field after harvesting to put it into corn for next year. Open to all suggestions. | |
