Subject: New one on me?

NE Iowa
Tearing shingles off of an old chicken coop at the son& DIL near dodge center, mn. There was no tar paper under the shingles on the north side, and when we got to the bottom of the south side there were 2 passes of tar paper. Well the second pass up came off real easy, but the bottom 5-6 rows are stuck to the tar paper, almost volcanized to it, and the tar paper is stuck to the wood just as bad.

We are slowly getting it off with hammers and wonder bars, but I've never sen this before. If I had known it would be this bad would have stripped it with 2x4 s and then tinned it"."".. Live and learn

It is now a garage
