South-East South Dakota | We got enough physical corn to finish the cattle we have on hand now. Cash corn here barely dipped below 6. Very little corn was forward contracted here as we were dry to start the year. I don't see how anyone should be on here bragging they have all there feed needs locked up so cheap. I'm not talking smack on my fall contracts. These markets would be a lot better off if you could only sell or buy physical products. This paper game it is is what is causing all the volitity. I guess I better get in my "office" now. I call it the pay loader cab tho,and go feed the real cattle before it gets hot again. This heat deal is shrinking pounds off the beef market too. | |
