| My dad and I use Mirafount waterers in NW Iowa for our horses. Had one for nearly 20 years before we swapped it out for a new one. Need to be sure to but the insulated pipe type housing that they sell that extends down into the ground, and digging electricity to it is basically required, they probably sell heaters for them now, but I remember we had a small birdbath heater in the first one I mentioned with no problems. A small concrete pad is a must. | |
