Southern MN | Changing the color of links is something local on the machine you are using. Your machine stores what links you have clicked on and displays them in different colors. You can even change the color if you don't like the defaults. The server serving up the data to you has no idea what you've read and have not read, only your local computer knows that.
Most likely the history on your browser is being cleared somehow. The other possibility is that your browser stored in history the link to a thread and then the server changed that thread to a new link (URL). That's unlikely though. | |
