southern MN | It's fading fast, but yes we have pretty good crops compared tot he rest of the country.
The wet May flooded out the low ground. The past 2 weeks took out a lot of the hills in my neck of the woods, stunted, rolled, and burnt. Sounds like the rain on Friday will mostly be on the trees of northern MN, not much here where the corn grows. The really good middle ground is getting smaller.
I'm not complaining, we have it nice, can even get to average if the weather would cooperate. But there won't be any above average corn yields in my neighborhood, and the beans sure look poor this year.
