Post below got me to thinking about weather sayings from the past. Had one wonderful old fellow(now deceased) used to have some really good ones. He was in his late 90's when he left us.

  If it rains on Monday, you will get 2 more good rains for the week. If it sprinkles on Monday , it will sprinkle 2 more times for the week. Happened that way alot after he told me.
