NECIL | The best thing you can do is keep the rpm's down. I thought they said around 1375 rpm's.
I ran a 2005 Peterbilt with a C-13 and a 13 speed and even when I tried to keep the rpm's down the best I could do was maybe 5.4 mpg. My dad ran a 2009 C-13 with a 13 speed and it had a burner. He could get over 6 easy. I think the biggest thing was the difference in the rear end ratios and being able to keep the rpm's down.
