West-Central Missouri | After reading thread on E - RBOB spread below I have a few questions .
Of ethanol mandate needed to be lowered to say 5% blend, would it immediately drop to 5% or would there be enough demand to hold it above 5% due to ethanol's lower price?
Currently ethanol is at 2.48 vs RBOB 2.76, a $.28 discount. But how is E price at the pump determined?
Also what would we use for an oxygenate if we dropped E?
