SW Wisconsin | Iowa, for the most part, seems to holding well; for now.
My bean dealer from Iowa stopped by today and told me that Western Iowa is fine. Eastern Iowa is needing rain, but not too late, yet, Parts of what he saw here in SW Wisconsin are beyond help. Last week drove a stake in the heart of thousands of acres of hurting corn. Now, we will wait for the USDA to confirm it. For those that have corn to combine this year, it will be a windfall. | |
