Totally not uncommon at all, at least in this area.
4720's that run in the cane WILL break in half.. There is a kit from Deere, pipe with gussets, cut caps off frame tubes, slide in while drilling 20 holes one each side of frame and then plug weld in place. If I had a 4720 I would do it before it happened.
AN305700 is the part number.
