Our 820's were nothing but problems and to me did a terrible job. I dont know anything about the modified 820's but the smartest thing I ever did was put a john deere head on my 1460. I figure we paid for it in the first season. I really like the deere head but I have a newer combine with a 1020 and it works pretty decent also.
