N IL | Nothing cash sold. Nothing HTA'd. Floor price protected with options just got to 30% in corn, otherwise revenue ins protected. Short aug sb futures for stored '11 beans, but long nov beans with calls and futures as a cross hedge for ddgs used for cattle feed. If ddg production goes down, sb meal will keep rising, and i prefer the liquidity of the soybean market, not meal. also long corn calls and short corn puts for cattle feed. Net-net I'm happy to have been long... now how much longer to stay there? a week or two? | |
