Subject: 9500reverser feeder house gearbox revisited

Michigan
A couple days ago,I asked about why our 9500 combine feeder house gearbox was running extremely hot, come to find out there was a bearing out on the inside.took It to our local dealer(split the gearbox, took in the planetary gears)mechanic sez, gears are worn, some very small chips on the edges etc,sez need new gearbox(5k or close to it)..I thought why not replace bearings and seals, and try to fix it myself.took it home, rebuilt it,ran it for about ten minutes in wheat, felt it,it was warm but seemed fine, thought there,I fixed it and saved some big bucks.ran it for about ten more ACRES and checked it again, extremely HOT again noticing oil was dripping out of it,shut it down and finished with the new machine(we run two combines).wheat harvest is over so now time to deal with it the right way,can someone recommend a salvage yard for 9000series combines?worthington Ag wants 2750.00 for a used one,is there a better, cheaper option? Other suggestions ??
