I would be surprised if DE would work, they are pretty big.

Insecticides watered into the mulch they are hiding in during the day is likely the most complete control.

You can trap them by making rolled up newspapers, they will go into the newspapers during the day, and you can either burn the papers and put out new ones, or open them and drop the earwigs into soapy water to kill them.

Insecticidal soaps are supposed to work pretty well, but you'd have to be spraying at night to get them to work.
