What would the chances be of the government coming in and putting caps on prices? To protect the consumers.
I could even see this administration coming in through homeland security in conjunction with the dept of Ag and allocating the 13 corn seed giving it to the areas with the greatest percieved yield potential to stimulate maximum production.
