Subject: Learn from my fail

Woodham, Ontario
Was going to install a cleanfix fan on my 2012 international Workstar feedtruck and had to remove the original Horton fan clutch to attach the cleanfix adapter hub. in BIG lettering on the hub it says the hub uses lefthand thread. So I try to turn the center bolt (the only thing you can get a tool on) clockwise to loosen it. It was tight, very tight... But it says right on there it is left hand thread... So I try harder and harder...

Stripped the Torx 55 head. trying to loosen it... Do some googling and find out, even though it says left hand thread, I should turn it counter clockwise to loosen it... What the grawlix??? So mad right now... There is no way I am going to get it loose now... Just had to vent...
