Subject: Corn and Bean field Pic's ~ looking good, so far.

central - east central Minnesota -

My corn is shooting tassels (the refuge is tasseling and the dekalb should be tasseled by weekend) ~
Bean pic's in no-tilled corn stubble. The bean pic's are in sandy soils and are holding well in this heat and dryness, so far.
A nice 24 hour, 1½ rain would be idea about now and some cooler temps. Night time temps are holding in the mid to high 70's and today a new record high (101) at mpls airport (it's high 90's here and feels like 100's due to humidity).
