Morris, IL | I sprayed in 95 degrees, no wind, and only going 4 mph with open station tractor the other day. I was a sweat bath. Don't know how they did it but next year i'm putting sprayer on the cab tractor with autosteer in it. Grandpa tells me how they cultivated 3 times, once planting direction, then across planter, then back to planting direction which was called laying it by. Don't know how they did it. Lot of guys wouldn't farm if they had to put up with that and the risky environment we deal with today. To me cold is more manageable but plowing in all day for days in the cold wouldn't be much fun either. Combining beans with no cab. Dealing with horses. I can't imagine although someday they are going to say same thing about way we do things today.
