King City, Mo
beans are magical!!! lol beans beans the magical fruit....lol eeer i need to stay in outta the heat.

I sprayed all my beans last weekend, i feel the same way, it's amazing how they are holding on and how some of them have taken off. I worked all the ground a little deeper then intended at the end of april to help take the weeds out, and we got that 4" of rain afterwards. That soaked in and down. I took a shovel and dug up a bean root and was impressed with the root system.

I've always hard stories of beans planted 4th of july making 30+ better after wheat and have had some 35bu 2years ago after wheat planted july 3-5th so it's still possible. Last year a couple more rains on the double crops and they had the potential to make up there with the first crop beans.
