South-East South Dakota
6 30 on a 7500 has to be small to start with. We will be using the 6850 with 8 30. And I will guarentee we will be chopping way poorer corn then you have ever seen let alone had the honor of raising. In 02 the last bad dry year we had a 5830 and a 6 30, second gear hydro all the way ahead and the trucks didn't work to hard keeping up. I honestly think our 6850 could run a 12 30 this year easy, things have gotten that bad here. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you got the support equipment go big as you can. It may not rain next year either
