sorry to hear about how rough the conditions are in your area. It is also been very hot and dry here in Western IL but certainly not as bad as southern IL.
a couple more questions when you have a chance:
how long do you think it takes for the continuous no-till COC w/HV system to start out performing your other continuous no-till systems?
Are there other farmers in S. Illinois that are having success with this system? e.g., Jr. Upton?
do you manage the fertility differently for continuous no-till COC w/HV vs. your other continuous no-till systems?
Have you started growing your own vetch seed?
