NE Indiana | Yes it was the same type of thing last year with the extreme heat during pollination, but the corn dug deeper to find the moisture to produce the ears that it did. They said (NWS) that the extreme moisture from last spring and fall/winter might help the crops this year. We are all finding out that is a wrong statement. Everyone in the U.S. is hurting on corn because of no rain fall and when we do get it, it's just enough to cut the dust for 5 seconds after the sun comes back out and extreme heat afterwords. I will be counting my blessings if I can even get 30 bpa corn. | |
