No personal experience but my biggest concern is condensation on the lines and the drain on the evaporator inside. I would always be worried about it dripping down in a wall or attic.
Besides the fact they are kinda ugly on the inside. But I guess I could trade that for air conditioned comfort. I'm glad we already have central a/c.
